The Miss Hooks Pageant came in and went like a light.  I was going to post pictures but I don't have any good ones, Brandon didn't get up and take pictures up close!!

Since the last time I blogged...we bought land and decided to sell our house.  We had the house up for almost two weeks and got a hit. A couple from here! They loved the house and made and offer and we accepted. SO, needless to say we will be moving here shortly.  Our plans are to save and then build within the next three years. It should be before the three years are up...but that is a fair time line!

Ali has grown like a weed. She is 9 months now! Where did that time go? She is so stinkin' adorable! I know I may be partial but still...you can't say she isn't!!! :)

I have a new addiction at the moment. I suppose two!!! Candy Crush Saga and Pinterest.

Whoever came up with those two, really had nothing better to do, and now...when Ali is asleep or I'm in the car....that's all I do! THANKS! HAHA!!! I need help getting passed 117. Any suggestions. I am to the point, I want to throw my phone out the stinkin window.  With pinterest...I'm sure Brandon would like to kill me. I have made all kinds of new creations with dinner, desserts, and DIY projects. I love it! I try new things...somethings aren't so good, so we don't have it again, but other times they are flippin sweet. Like the oreo icebox pie. AMAZING!!! Found Here

Any way, the next month or a little over a month is going to be crazy. So I figured I'd update ya and then leave ya be for a little and then come back again! lol!

Oh yea...I am also stuck at the same weight, 3 months now! HOWEVER, I am toning and I can tell somewhat, and others SEE the results. So I have to be doing something right. The scale is just a number...that number doesn't even matter! I wouldn't have thought that when I started my weight loss journey but boy things change! I'll see if I can't post a before and present picture soon.

I will try and blog more for those of you who actually like to read this!

I realize I haven't updated in a while!!!

Everything is going wonderfully!!!

Ali is already 7 months....where in the world did that time go...she was just born yesterday.

As you can imagine having a 7 month old...you're never not busy!! That's what we have been up to...chasing around a crawling, wannabe standing/walking little girl!!

The Whitehurst Trio is still here and will soon update with some pictures from Easter and Ali's first pageant...YES I said pageant!!! Yikes!!

Goodbye 2012....Hello 2013

Okay, so I am a little late with this but give me a break! :)

A TON happened in 2012!

For starters: This day last year (January 2, 2012) I took a test that would change our life forever! I tell ya what... I passed that sucker with FLYING colors!!

January 31, 2012 - Our first Doctors appointment to confirm my scoring! :) A little bitty bean was in my tummy with a fast heart beat. So cute and unbelievable that a tiny thing like that would be growing inside me!

That night was also my Uncle's birthday. We had a get together at Chilis and let everyone know then that we were expecting.

I'm sure something happened in February and March but nothing to write about - I really can't remember those months.

April however I remember like it was yesterday!!

April 25, 2012- The day we were to find out what we were going to have! I was getting ready that morning in our guest bathroom so Brandon could sleep in a little bit. I was straightening my hair and then reached down to get something and a SNAKE was right there at my freakin FOOT!!  This woman didn't scream...until I got to the bedroom! I believe I was asking for Brandon but I wasn't loud enough and took off to the room! :(





 Brandon came to my rescue with a spatula and two prong fork (or whatever they are called)...YAY my HERRRRO!

Later that day we found out we were having a little GIRL!!!

Not sure what happened in May or June. I do know it was HOT. Let me tell ya HEAT and PREGNANCY don't mix!! IF there is a next time, I will plan differently!

July 21, 2012 - I had an amazing baby shower-Thanks to Tia Cooper, Breanna Murphy, Lisa Runnels, and Cathy McBroom. So much love for that little unborn baby.

In August, we prepared for little Ali Rae's arrival. A whole month! I predicted that she would be born on the 31st and Brandon the 1st. Those days came and nothing happened. Soooooo....

September 6, 2012 - With the help of an epidural (the best decision EVER!!!)...we had a beautiful baby girl at 9:59 pm weighing 8lbs 6oz and 21 inches long.

There were a ton of people waiting for her arrival at the hospital and she even had a special radio announcement for her uncles and aunts on the fire department <-they had a fire.

October 6, 2012 - One month after Ali. I was 20 - 30 pounds lighter, but having a tough time. I didn't think I would be so worn out...BOY was I wrong. That was one tough month. We made it through and it got easier, much easier.

November 22, 2012 - Ali's first Thanksgiving. We quickly learned how to make a plate while that one eats and the other holds baby and then the other way. I finish pretty quickly most of the time..I don't know if that's good or bad. :)

December 2012 - We had some wonderful guests arrive at our house! We love their company and don't want them to leave. We have PLENTY of room for you guys when you return...FYI!!!  :)

December 25, 2012 - Ali's First Christmas. This child is already SPOILED. She got a TON of stuff. I look forward to next year and getting her nothing but boxes!!

December 31, 2012 - New Year's Eve. We worked the day of, came home, and went NO WHERE and did NOTHING!!! It was so GREAT!!

(We are doing that with Christmas next year too!)
